Spooky season brought big laughs and even bigger wins for the Camacho Lab! 👻🎃 At the 2025 NDRB Halloween Poster Contest, the lab took home the "Funniest" award for their sci-fi themed poster to warn about the effects of artificial blue light.

Doctoral students Addison Kanke and Victoria Lemus traveled to Southbridge, MA to co-present their poster, 'The Role of Blue Light in Retinal Degeneration', at the 2025 FASEB: Chemistry and Biology of Vision Conference. Their presentation highlighted their research in the lab and sparked engaging conversations with the vision science community!
