College of Sciences Faculty & Staff Request Resource
If there is COS web content you would like to add or revise, please submit a website request and provide the URL if it is an existing webpage. The following types of requests can be made with this form:
- Changes to an existing webpage
- Request a new webpage or news post
- Add, update, or remove a faculty profile

New to the College of Sciences or need something changed on your faculty profile webpage? Click the link to submit a website request.
The following information is needed for faculty profiles:
- Headshot (minimum size: 400x500 px)
- Name
- Title (e.g. Assistant Professor)
- Office (if applicable)
- Phone (if applicable)
- Degrees (e.g. Ph.D. in xxx; awarding institution)
- TT: Research interests (short bulleted list)
- FTT: Teaching (short bulleted list)
- Lab website link or personal website link (if applicable)
- Publication website link (if applicable; e.g. Google Scholar, MyNCBI, etc.)
Review the following headshot guidelines if you need to update or submit a new headshot photo for your profile. Then click the link to submit a website request.
- Dimensions: 400x500 px
- jpg format
- 72 dpi
- Full color preferred; black & white accepted
- Must be facing and looking toward the camera
- Photo must be centered, with eye level at or around the 1/3 line from the top
- Must be a studio photograph with a blurred, blue, or neutral background color
Temporary allowances can be made to faculty who do not have a photo that matches specifications; however, they must indicate when they will provide a photo which meets the guidelines. All faculty members can use the IRIS booth at the UT San Antonio Career Center to obtain their headshot.
If you are unsure about your photo meeting guidelines, please refer to the photos currently in use by COS faculty and staff and note that the College of Sciences reserves the right to modify or reject headshot photos prior to and after publication.
