The Extreme Environments Materials Lab
The EEML is a radiological materials laboratory whose fuel fabrication focus is dedicated to the high temperature synthesis and thermal analysis of uranium bearing ceramic and intermetallic compounds and alloys.
Research is primarily focused on the synthesis and screening of accident tolerant nuclear fuel concepts. Novel materials relevant to the energy industry are of interest as well.
