The Student Council, consisting of members from various disciplines within the College of Sciences, is a student organization that advocates for the betterment of students’ academic journeys within the college. The Student Council shall work to:

  • Engage in discussions on COS policy and activities, providing a forum for constructive criticism and new ideas.
  • Promote a healthy scientific and collegiate community amongst students, faculty, and staff.
  • Promote the values of leadership, professionalism, and public service.
  • Inform students of available academic, professional, and personal growth opportunities, such as those hosted by the Student Council, COS, and UTSA.
