About the UTSA ASBMB Student Chapter

The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) is a national organization dedicated to advancing the sciences of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Their mission is to foster professional and educational development by supporting members through a variety of workshops, conferences, research, and networking opportunities.

The purpose of the UTSA ASBMB Student Chapter is to promote student success in the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by fostering a strong sense of community among its members through various events that encourage networking, outreach, academic and professional development.
