About the ASBMB Student Chapter

The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) is a national organization dedicated to advancing the sciences of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Their mission is to foster professional and educational development by supporting members through a variety of workshops, conferences, research, and networking opportunities.

The purpose of the ASBMB Student Chapter is to promote student success in the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by fostering a strong sense of community among its members through various events that encourage networking, outreach, academic and professional development.
