As a WSRTP trainee, you will:
Work 15 hours/week year-round on a real research project (optional extra 21 hours volunteering in summer) and earn $12/hr.
Collaborate with a faculty mentor guiding your research journey.
Get hands-on professional development training—preparing a scientific presentation, applying for summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs), and more.
Earn recommendation letters for grad school, med school, or research jobs.
Have access to funding for conference travel and lab supplies.
