If so, come join the NDRB Prefreshman Research Experience (NPRE) and prepare for research opportunities that will help you to reach a scientific career!
The NDRB Pre-Freshman Research Experience is an NIH-funded, paid, year-long research program at The University of Texas at San Antonio for incoming freshmen. Through Phase I (summer) and Phase II (academic year), students gain laboratory experience, faculty mentorship, and professional development while building skills to succeed in STEM. The program seeks to promote the retention of students pursuing science degrees and contribute to the future generation of science professionals.
Interested in Volunteering?
Faculty interested in hosting a student for the NPRE summer program have until the application deadline to volunteer to host. Graduate students and postdocs are invited to participate in the administrative preparation. Please email Vanessa Allen with any questions or comments.
