June 28-22, 2018 — The week-long teachers workshop was successfully conducted with 16 teachers from local K-12 schools participating.

April 27, 2018 — The 2018 Spring MSEIP Colloquium was successfully conducted and 6 top presenters received certificates and cash.

April 21, 2018 — MSEIP students' field trip to local geology and water facility led by Dr. Yongli Gao.

Dec 15, 2017 — 22 new students selected and announced and will start in Spring 2018.

June 12-16, 2017 — The second week-long teachers workshop was successfully conducted; 20 teachers attended the workshop.

Dec 2, 2016 — The 2016 annual MSEIP Colloquium successfully conducted.

Oct 2016 — Calls for faculty participations and student applications to the program (second year) announced and are respectively due on November 11 and December 2, 2016.

Oct 2016 — The annual MSEIP student colloquium announced and is scheduled to occur on December 2, 2016.

Aug 1, 2016 — Drs. Xie and Sharif attended the one-day MSEIP Project Directors' Meeting in Washington, DC and exchanged ideas and best practices with the program manager and colleagues from other universities/colleges around the USA.

Oct 2015 — The MORESE program is back as MSEIP and is supported by the DoEd MSEIP for another three years to extend The University of Texas at San Antonio's effort for education improvement of our students and K-12 educators.
