The annual UTSA Earth Symposium is hosted by the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (previously the Department of Geological Sciences) and the Department of Integrative Biology (previously the Department of Environmental Science and Ecology).
The day-long event includes both oral and poster presentations that showcase ongoing research focusing on the different components of the Earth system (biosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere), their ecology, environment, and interaction.
