If so, come join the UTSA STEM Transfer and Pre-Research Academy!

Trainees will attend a three-day STEM Transfer and Pre-Research Academy workshop in August. Learn advanced study skills, campus support resources, take part in laboratory tours, meet UTSA researchers, learn about research opportunities available at UTSA, and network with fellow students. Lunch is included on all days.

Program Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be strongly considering a career as a scientist and not firmly committed to becoming a physician, dentist, or other health profession without an associated Ph.D.
  • Be admitted to the required major or pre-major
  • Plan on attending UTSA in Fall 2024
  • Be available to fully attend the three-day day-long workshop sessions on August 19-21, 2024
