The primary focus of our research is synthetic organic chemistry and its applications. Our lab is interested in developing green and sustainable synthetic methods for the synthesis of organic molecules, especially those of potential biological significance and/or usage in medicinal chemistry. Specifically, we are interested in the asymmetric synthesis of chiral molecules using organocatalysis, the photochemistry of the electron-donor-acceptor (EDA) complexes, and the medicinal chemistry of our synthesized compounds.
You are welcome to join our team if you are a motivated student who is interested in organic chemistry. Please go through our website and our publications to find more details about our on-going research projects. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to pursue post-doctoral, graduate, or undergraduate research opportunity in our lab.
