Our primary goal as scientists and trainees is to work hard to make important contributions to our scientific community by doing performing solid, informative, and important experiments. We are also learners - we learn from our experiments, each other and our environment at UTSA. BUT, we also try to enjoy our time together...and when we get a chance, we take a trip over to the branch office (just ask John McCarrey). Debauchery? NO WAY, its all clean good fun. Below is a list of some of our most recent group activities.

OK - admittedly there should be a longer list here - working on that! (C'mon, we're spending all of our time working in the lab making great discoveries after all)

“Some scientists find, or so it seems, that they get their best ideas when smoking; others by drinking coffee or whisky. Thus there is no reason why I should not admit that some may get their ideas by observing, or by repeating observations.”
