The Department of Integrative Biology at The University of Texas at San Antonio is a comprehensive academic Department that offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies, Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, Environmental Science, and Multidisciplinary Science, and Master's degrees in Biology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science.

The Department was formed in 2021 by the integration of the Department of Environmental Science and Ecology, the plant biology division within the Department of Biology, and the Department of Biology science education faculty. The Department of Integrative Biology is designed for students who want a focus in biological structures and systems from multicellular life to local ecosystems to the entire terrestrial biosphere.
